An einem Fließband im VEB Sachsenring Automobilwerke Zwickau werden die Zweitakt-Pkw vom Typ Trabant / Trabbi montiert. Hier ein künftiger Trabant im "Rohzustand" in der Lackier-Abteilung. Der im Volksmund "Trabi" und "Rennpappe" genannte Kleinwagen hatte eine Duroplast-Karosserie und einen Zweitaktmotor zwischen 18 und 26 PS.
