Bäuerinnen einer Landwirtschaftlichen Produktionsgenossenschaft lernen den Umgang mit einer sowjetischen Kohlpflanzmaschine SBM-6, aufgenommen in der Nähe von Leipzig. Mit Hilfe einer solchen Maschine konnte die kräftezehrende, mehrere Tage andauernde Arbeit binnen weniger Stunden bewältigt werden.
