A public festival celebrating the 40th anniversary of the GDR took place on Alexanderstrasse in East Berlin. Vintage buses of the Berlin public transport company, specifically Buessing NAG Type D3 models, were present. The characteristic angular front end (a "nose-fronted" bus) with the distinctive Buessing radiator grille and the historic Berlin license plate are clearly visible. The bus also features period-correct advertising for the toothpaste brand Chlorodont and is marked as a "special trip". Photo: Siegfried Bonitz
