Christel Guillaume was an agent of the Ministry for State Security of the GDR. In 1951, she married Günter Guillaume, who also Stasi agent war.1956 settled the couple on behalf of the Stasi in the FRG to where they masqueraded as "refugees." Günter Guillaume Christel and settled in Frankfurt am Main and Christel was a secretary at the office party the SPD Hessen-Süd. In 1974 she and her husband discovered and arrested on April 24. She was sentenced to eight years in prison for treason and espionage. In 1981 the couple Guillaume in the context of an agent exchanges back to East Germany, where it was officially known as "spies of the peace" celebrated. Since then she has lived in retirement in Hohen Neuendorf near Berlin in a house built and secured just for her house
