The GDR state and party leader Erich Honecker equips Greece a two-day state visit, here look at the grave of the unknown soldier after laying a wreath by Honecker on 11.10.1985 at Syntagma Square in Athens. It was Honecker's second visit of a NATO country after his trip to Italy in the spring of 1985. The expansion of contacts with the West, a new image of the GDR should propagandiert than European and peace-loving country and the GDR as an important partner for future East-West relations are shown.
